She is survived by: her children, Nagui Matta, Wedad Eustice (Harry) and Wafaa Bennett (Jim); her grandchildren, Kristen LaVasseur, Marie Matta, Eric Eustice (Jenna), Lauren DeVor (Matthew), Evan Eustice, Katy Hill (Eric), Sara McQuilkin (Geoffrey) and Michael Bennett; her great grandchild Scarlet LaVasseur; and her friend Desmond.
