He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifford Finney and Doris Finney (Nelson); and his brothers, Larry and Duane Finney. He is survived by: his pet Lucy; his wife Ruth Finney of Union City; his children, Elizabeth Sigourney (Garry) of Union City, Timothy Finney of Battle Creek and Kelly Isabel (Joey) of Louisville, KY; his grandchildren, James Couey, Caleb Sigourney, Ashley Sigourney, Tessa McClure and Easton Isabel; his sister Lorraine Mack of LaGrange, IN; and his nephews, Brian Mack (Ashley) and Shane Finney (Sue). He is also survived by several other nieces and nephews.
