Thomas Oliver Sechrist Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Thomas Oliver Sechrist (Union City, Michigan), born in Kalamazoo, Michigan, who passed away on May 19, 2020, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Virgil Sechrist and Alixe Sechrist (Grigsby); his son Thomas B. "Barry" Sechrist; and his brother Richard Sechrist. He is survived by: his children, Rick Sechrist of Battle Creek, Candace Hawk (Bill) of Battle Creek and Beth Sechrist of Battle Creek; his sister-in-law Patricia Sechrist of Union City; his former wife Nancy VanHuysen of Battle Creek; and his sibling's children, Donald Ogden, Tony Ogden, Todd Ogden (Kathy), Doug Ogden (Angelina), Kurt Sechrist (Leanna) and Penny Lepper (Doug). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
