He was predeceased by : his parents, Eric Trinklein and Agnes Schreiner Trinklein; his wife Irene; his close friend Gilbert Trinklein; and his siblings-in-law, Otto Rodammer Jr., Milton Rodammer, Fred Weiss, Elenor Trinklein, Lorraine Weiss and Edna Rodammer.

He is survived by : his children, Marilyn Lee (Terry) of Saginaw, Tom Trinklein of Vassar, Dale Trinklein of Millington, Mark Trinklein of Midland and Gerald Trinklein (Carla) of Ligonier, Indiana.; his grandchildren, Nicholas Lee (Cherie) of Kailua, Megan Mendyka (Christopher) of Rochester Hills, Taryn Garwood (Dustin) of Troy, Bethany, Matthew and Daniel Trinklein of Ligonier; his great grandchildren, Conner, Cameron Mendyka, Collins Garwood and Kailer Lee; and his sisters-in-law, Eileen Rodammer of Frankenmuth and Irene Rodammer of Reese. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
