She was predeceased by: her husband George Janisse; her daughter Lori Akenbrandt; her sister Betty Sweet; and her parents, Bernice Downie and William Downie.
She is survived by: her daughters, Lisa Robertson (Paul) and Lynn Buck (Kevin); her grandchildren, Amanda Adkins (David), Erik Robertson (Kaitlyn), Ashley Muscat (Nick), Alyson Buck and Avery Buck; and her great grandchildren, Elizabeth Adkins, Leeland Adkins, Kacey Robertson and Kinsley Robertson.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 6th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, November 7th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Friday, November 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Salem Lutheran Church (32430 Ann Arbor Trail, Westland, MI 48185).
