He was predeceased by: his parents, John and Anne; his children, Theodore Thomas and Cynthia Thomas; and his brother David Thomas.
He is survived by: his wife Therese Fedeski; his children, Anthony W. Thomas (Jennifer), Sandra Malone (John) and Timothy Thomas (Lisa); his grandchildren, Kourtney, Anthony, John, Lucas, Megan and Brian; and his sister Rita LaHood. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
