He was predeceased by : his parents, Cecil Haines and Margaret Haines (Harrington). He is survived by : his wife Diana Damp; his children, Erin Gee of Washington Twp and Laura Franco (Ramon) of Royal Oak; his grandchildren, Cameron, Cullen, Elizabeth and Lucian; his great grandchild Grayson Luke; and his siblings, Robert Haines and Lynne Haines.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to ALS.
