She was predeceased by: her parents, Andrew Barnes and Flossie Barnes; and her siblings, Andrew and Stella. She is survived by: her husband Robert; her brother Floyd; and her children, James Guthrie (Melanie), Luke Herring (Jennifer), Rob Harting (Brandiwyne), Crystal Otto (Jason) and Adrieana Diamond (Jordan). She is also survived by 11 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
