She was predeceased by: her husband Gordon Meredith; her father Kenneth Howell; and her sister Lori Howell. She is survived by: her children, Lori and Vance McClenton (Chrystal); her mother Ethel Howell; her siblings, Steve Howell (Brenda) and Shelli Fox (Rick); and her grandchildren, Amadeus and Demitrius McClenton. She is also survived by many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Susan G. Komen Foundation, an organization about which Schaorie felt strongly.
