Gholam-Hossein Azarbayejani Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Gholam-Hossein Azarbayejani of West Bloomfield, Michigan, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 17, 2025 at the age of 91. He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Ann Azarbayejani (Cortright); his children, Nahid Casazza (Mark), Nasrin Azari (James Hewitt), Ali Azarbayejani (Heather Jankins) and Mohsen Azarbayejani; and his grandchildren, Madeleine Gaffaney (Tim Pattyson), Alexa Gaffaney, Kaelyn, Justin Casazza, Caden and Kira Azarbayejani. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Viewing will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM and on Saturday, October 25th 2025 from 8:00 AM to 9:00 AM at the Southfield Funeral Home (18338 W 12 Mile Rd, Southfield, MI 48076). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM and from 11:45 AM to 12:45 PM. A reception will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 3:30 PM at the Northwest Unitarian Universalist Church (23925 Northwestern Hwy, Southfield, MI 48075).
