He was predeceased by: his parent Harry Lanzi; his wife Janet L. Simpson Lanzi; his brothers, Harry Lanzi and Joseph Lanzi; and his nephew Joe Lanzi, Jr..
He is survived by: his parent Catherine E. Scalzo Lanzi; his children, Kathleen Pfluger (John) of Leicester and Edward H. Lanzi, Jr.; his grandchildren, Aleah Jones (Lance) and Jordan Pfluger (Vanessa); his great grandchildren, Nolan Jones and Kason Jones; and his sibling's children, Kelly Hannagan, Mike Lanzi, Linda Lanzi Woda and Karen Lanzi.
