With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Velna Lucille Carden-Brown of Westland, Michigan, born in Paris, Tennessee, who passed away on March 6, 2024 at the age of 103. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husbands, Louis and David; her daughters, Cynthia and Suzann; and her grandson Dan.
She is survived by: her children, Jacquelynn King (Jeffrey), David Carden (late Krystyna), Mark Carden, Robert Brown (Janice) and John Brown (Sherie); her grandchildren, Megan (Reeve), David Jon, Jordan (Brittany), Margot (Mark), Brandy (Brian), Louis, Ryan, Ann Marie (Brandon), Helisha (Dan) and Heather (Nicholas); and her great grandchildren, Devin (Taylor), Allyson, Bobbie, Rebecca, Austin, Owen, Wren and Devon.
