He is survived by: his friends, Boston Terriers, DJ Heyman of White Cloud and Michael Heyman of White Cloud; his sister Janice Maran (Daniel) of Lansing; his nephew Troy Maran (Kristen); his great-nephew Emmett of Lansing; his great-niece Leann of Lansing; and his uncle Marvin Prielipp of Tecumseh.
