He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Donna Ruth Shavalier (Nelson) and Axel J. Shavalier (Nancy) of Newaygo; and his son Axel James Queen Shavalier of Freeport, Michigan. He was also cherished by 2 step sisters and 3 step brothers; many aunts, uncles, cousins.
