She was predeceased by : her parents, Floyd Clayton and Sally Clayton (Simmons); and her siblings, Floyd Clayton, Julie Clayton and Kenny Clayton.

She is survived by : her children, Harvey E. Smith, Jr., Whitney J. Smith and Bridget A. Smith; her grandchildren, Zeffary I. Smith, Tashalla A. Mitchell and Samantha A. Mitchell; and her sisters, Lori Clayton, Sharon Clayton, Karen Clayton, Kari Clayton and Debbie Clayton.
