He was predeceased by : his parents, Duoc Huynh and Thien Tran. He is survived by : his pet Tinny; his wife Khanh Huynh; his children, Jonathan Huynh, Jennifer Huynh-Casey (Philip), Alexandra Huynh, Tinny Huynh, Lan, Quoc Huynh (Kim Anh), Tom Sargee (Marie) and Robert Sargee (Victoria); and his close friend John Carey.
