It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rita Saari (White Pine, Michigan), who passed away on May 20, 2019, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Rita Saari to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by : her parents, John Skoviak and Pauline Skoviak; her brother John "Yaka" Skoviak; her siblings-in-law, Joy Skoviak, Jim Noble, Robert Saari, Robert White and Patty Saari; her daughter-in-law Nicole Selzer; and her pet Pentu.

She is survived by : her sibling Lakes; her former life partner Catholic Church; her husband Donald Saari of White Pine; her children, Mark Saari, Melissa Swinehart (Joe), Aaron Saari (Alexis), Jeffrey Saari, Luke Saari and Alexandra Saari (Keith Ellis); her grandchildren, Connor Swinehart and Lily Swinehart; her siblings, Francis Skoviak (JoAnn), Clem Skoviak and Donna White; her siblings-in-law, Ron Saari (Maria), Dave Saari (Colleen), Ken Saari (Colleen), Rick Saari (Cheryl), Steven Saari (Denise), Patricia Racine (Bruce), Elizabeth Bowling (Dan) and Barb Short (Gary); and her close friend Alicia Simmons Burgess. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and special friends.

The family requests in lieu of flowers to donate to the Ontonagon County Cancer Society.
