She was predeceased by : her parents, Marie Bacon and Robert Bacon; her brother Michael Bacon; and her close friend Warren Gregory. She is survived by : her friend Marie Kingdon; her children, Tim Holmes and Michelle Jennings (Perry); her grandchildren, Caleb Jennings, Dashiell and Grayson Holmes; her sisters, Peg Bacon (Julia Tanner), Kathryn Wright (Van Wright) and Martha Jakubiak; and her nieces and nephews, Elizabeth Jones, Marianne Bacon, Michael Bacon and Miklos Horvath.

Mary Elizabeth (Bacon) Holmes, born February 8, 1945, died February 28, 2022 from complications of Alzheimer's disease.
