She was predeceased by : her son Anthony Stowie; her parents, Herman VandenBerg and Nellie VandenBerg; and her brother Herman VandenBerg. She is survived by : her son Timothy Stowie; her grandchildren, Paul Stowie, Shana Angus, Sabrina Stowie, Brandon Faus and Audrey Stowie; her great grandchildren, Sophia Stowie, Jarett Angus, Lucy Stowie and Jackson Angus; her siblings, David and Doris McDonald; and her close friend Judy Ayers. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
