She was predeceased by : her daughter Diamantina Schmidt. She is survived by : her children, Reymundo Vela (Brenda), Edelmiro Vela, Christina Reyes (Ruben), Rosalinda DeVries (Doug), Ramon Vela Jr. Yolanda Vela and Rosario DeJesus. She is also survived by 22 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, 5 great great grandchildren.
