With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Janis Kathleen Owen (Yale, Michigan), born in Tawas City, Michigan, who passed away on November 26, 2021 at the age of 59. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Gary Cooper and Sally Cooper (Sovereign); and her brothers, David and Gary. She is survived by : her former life partner Jeffery Owen; her husband Jeffrey; her children, Melissa Mitken (Phil) of Omaha, NE, Sandra Owen (Ryan) of Shelby Township and David King (Ashley) of Port Huron; and her siblings, Lynda, Marianne and Josh. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
