We are sad to announce that on July 24, 2025, Georgie I. Jessie of Ypsilanti, Michigan passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Raymond Jessie; her children, Stevie Glenn Bolton and Kathy Mullis; her parents, James Ayers and Bertha Ayers (Campbell); and her siblings, Virgil, Bill, L. C. Ayers, Lena Wilbur, Azilee Roberts, Mallie Bolton and Jallie Scott.
She is survived by: her son Greg Bolton (Karen); her stepson Joe Jessie; her grandchildren, DeAnna Kinner (Dale), Jason Bolton (Becca), David Mullis (Nancy), Cody Mullis (Ella), Autumn Jessie and Octavia Jessie; her great grandchildren, Caleb of Owen, P. J., AdreAnna, Jordan, Kara, Vaughn, Raven and Katie; her great great grandchild Paislee; her brother Leroy Ayers (R. L.); and her friend Lee Sowards. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 29th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Walters Funeral Home - LaFollette (509 E Central Ave, LaFollette, TN 37766). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 29th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
