She was predeceased by : her parents, Louis Sjolseth and Mable Sjolseth; her husband Bernard "Pat" Kappes; her grandson David; her siblings, Leo, Johnny, Archie and Helen; and her nephews, Randy, Darrell, Maury and Barry.
She is survived by : her sibling Valley; and her children, Marilyn Shivers of Ada, James Kappes (Bev) of Ely, Gene Kappes (Betty) of Ada and Denise Rasmusson (Jeff) of Lockhart. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; 12 great-great- grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
