She was predeceased by: her parents, George Wiertzema and Luella Wiertzema (Habbena); her husband Edward Weiss; her son-in-law Scott Lofthus; her siblings, Clarence (Alma), Herman (Lena), Orvie Wiertzema, Verona Wiertzema and Rosella Dammer; her stepson Travis Weiss; her stepgrandson Caleb Weiss; and her former husband Marvin Heitkamp.
She is survived by: her children, Jolene Truwe (Maple Grove), Connie Nowotny (Kevin) of Sioux Falls, SD, Jeff Heitkamp (Kathy) of Waco, TX and Michelle Loosbrock (Adrian); her grandchildren, Cole Heitkamp (Megan), Dani Paulson (Chris), Sam Lofthus (Lexi), Brett Nowotny (Ashley), Tanner Loosbrock (Carli), Nathan Loosbrock (Emmalie), Taylor Loosbrock (Logan), Gabi Berre and Leah Berre; her great grandchildren, Stevie, Miloh Heitkamp and Regan Nowotny; her stepchildren, Maria Ahlers (Al), Andy Weiss (Jill), Laura Weiss (Steve Loosbrock) and Marty Weiss (Brandi); her stepdaughter-in-law Wendy Anderson (Chad); her stepgrandchildren, Alexa, Taylor, Blake, Dana, Devin, Jackie, Sydnie, Josie, MaKaya and Travis; her stepgreat-grandchildren, Leo, Harlow, Beckett, Walker, Vela and Asher; her siblings, Virgil Wiertzema (Anita), Marvin Wiertzema (Verna) and Florence Winters of Rock Rapids, IA; and her siblings-in-law, Harm Dammer and Nancy Wiertzema.
