It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edward Berning of Adrian, Minnesota, born in Lismore, Minnesota, who passed away on December 16, 2020, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Berning and Louise Berning (Farwick); his wife Dolores Konz; his grandson Jason Berning; his siblings, Raphael, George Berning, Lorraine Van Peursem and Marie Smeins; and his siblings-in-law, Myron Smeins, Gert and Rita Berning.
He is survived by: his children, Doug Berning (Willy), Diane Banck (Dave) and Larry "Kono" Berning (Tess); his grandchildren, Bryan Banck, Tim Banck (Becky), Kelly Witt (Rory), Jeremy Berning (Alesha) and Aaron Vander Plaats (Dianne); his great grandchildren, Roman, Tucker, Anna, Braxton, Jessa, Kirby, Parker and Haley; and his brothers, Alvin Berning and Jim Berning. He is also survived by many nieces & nephews.
