He is survived by : his former life partner Kathleen Steckel; his children, Laurie Voltin (Kevin), Linda Zierden, Allen Zierden (Sharon) and Randy Zierden; his sisters, Ethel Nierenhausen, Mildred Wensmann and Melrose; and his sister-in-law Delores Zierden. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild and 1 step-grandchild.
