She was predeceased by : her parents, John Thelen and Anna Thelen; her husband Val "Chub"; her son Randy; her son-in-law John Ronallo; and her siblings, Bob Thelen, Fred Thelen, Karleen Tomsche, Leon Thelen, Virginia Thelen and Clifford Thelen.

She is survived by : her children, Mercy and Sherry Frederick of St. Louis Park. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
