She was predeceased by : her parents, John Karnes and Erma Karnes (Fuller); her husband John "Jack"; her son James; and her brothers, Clayton and Lawrence.
She is survived by : her cousin Thanksgiving; her children, Joan Payne (Donavon) of Burtrum, Brenda Lunceford (Lowell) of Rockville, John Walburn (Cathy) of Browerville and Barbara Stang (Alan) of St. Augusta; and her siblings, Ella Mae Bartz (Al) of Waite Park, Hoyt Karnes (Joyce) of Burtrum and Everette "James" Karnes (Darlene) of St. Joseph. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren.
