It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Linus Kalthoff of Albany, Minnesota, born in Saint Martin, Minnesota, who passed away on January 17, 2021, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Joseph Kalthoff and Anna Kalthoff (Jacobs); his brothers, Ben and Cyril Kalthoff; his brother-in-law Elmer Vossen; his son Ryan Kalthoff; and his granddaughter Ellie Sovada.
He is survived by : his wife Jenny Scherer; his children, Luanne Bemis (Mark) of Sheboygan, WI, Susan Sovada (Rick), Carol Longsdorf (Paul) of Forest Lake, MN, Sara Kalthoff of Willmar, MN, Ron Kalthoff (Karina) of Albany, Lisa Anderson (Steve) of Albany and Roger Kalthoff (Staci) of Albany; his grandchildren, Justin (Kelsey), Ryan Mergen (Elissa), Maranda Gillen (Mike), Katlyn, Kyle Sovada, Carrie, Marty, Maggie, Mitchell, Marcus, Mathias, Maria, Micah Longsdorf, Nolan (Holly), Lauren, Neal, Sophia Anderson, Katie, Kristine, Theresa, Lynette, Landen, Aaron, Nathan, Noah and Laina Kalthoff; his siblings, Norb Kalthoff (Verna) of Cold Spring, MN, Joe Kalthoff (Jane) of Albany, MN, Robert Kalthoff (Renee), Julianna Vossen of Cold Spring, MN and Mary Jane Kriz (Mark) of Lino Lakes, MN; and his sister-in-law Vi Kalthoff. He is also survived by five great grandchildren.
