In the tapestry of our lives, her presence is woven into the fabric of our fondest memories, a gentle reminder of the impact Karen Marie has had on our hearts.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Alfred Kaufman and Marie Kaufman (Wangen); her husband Ronald Godtland; and her brothers, Allen and Loren Kaufman.

She is survived by : her sons, Randy Godtland (Kim) of Boyden, IA, Adam Godtland and Evan Godtland of Albert Lea; her grandchildren, Anna Godtland and Thomas Godtland; her brother Lee Kaufman (Mary) of Chanhassen, MN; and her sister-in-law Brenda Kaufman of Faribualt, MN. She is also survived by four nephews.

A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, May 5th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Bayview Funeral Home (1415 State Hwy 13, Albert Lea, MN 56007). A burial will be held on Sunday, May 5th 2024 at the Oaklawn Cemetery.
