With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Betty Lou Karl (Alexandria, Minnesota), who passed away on July 15, 2025 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Mabel Hartman and Carl Hartman; her husband Wally (Wally); her siblings-in-law, Virgil (LaVina Karl), Joy (Arvid Swan), Joyce (Loren Borman) and Renae Karl; and her son-in-law Roy Sletto.
She is survived by: her children, Judy Smith (Karl), Susan Sletto (Karl), Patricia Maryott (Karl), Dell (Angela) and David (Wendy); and her siblings-in-law, Calvin Karl and Lois (LeRoy Bruns). She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, and 1 great, great grandchild.
Visitation was held on Friday, August 1st 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Anderson Funeral Home (659 Voyager Dr, Alexandria, MN 56308). A memorial service was held on Friday, August 1st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
