He was predeceased by: his parents, William Towner and Irene Towner (Johnson); his brothers, Charlie and Bob; his sister-in-law Mary; and his grandson Seth Moyer.
He is survived by: his wife Sue; his daughters, Katie Moyer (Wayne Kilmer) of Blaine, Sandie Cottrell (Brad) of Verndale and Suzie Towner (Shawn Beavens) of Elk River; his grandchildren, Sydney Magnuson (Colton), Joe Cottrell (Becky Mell), Cassie Puttonen (Cole), Cortnie Cottrell, Sommer Blake and Lizzie Towner; his sister Pat Bice of Akron, Iowa; and his sister-in-law Helen Towner. He is also survived by four great grandchildren.
