We are sad to announce that on April 6, 2025, at the age of 72, Michael Jeremy Sieve of Alexandria, Minnesota passed away. He was predeceased by: his parents, Helen Sieve (Burfiend) of Ellsworth, Minnesota. and Ben Sieve; his father-in-law Floyd Asmus; and his siblings-in-law, Cheryl Cramer and Steve Johnson.
He is survived by: his wife Cynthia Sieve; his children, Evan Sieve, Andrea Sieve and Brendan Sieve; and his siblings, Mark Sieve (Janis), Jon Sieve (Nancy), Kurt Sieve (Jeanne) and Katy Johnson.
Visitation was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 at 3:00 PM, at 4:30 PM and on Sunday, April 13th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, April 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Church of St. Mary (420 Irving St, Alexandria, MN 56308). Mike decided not to reopen the Brass Lantern in January of 2021, due to closures as a result of the Covid pandemic.
