He was predeceased by: his parents, Helen Sieve (Burfiend) of Ellsworth, Minnesota. and Ben Sieve; his father-in-law Floyd Asmus; and his siblings-in-law, Cheryl Cramer and Steve Johnson.
He is survived by: his wife Cynthia Sieve; his children, Evan Sieve, Andrea Sieve and Brendan Sieve; and his siblings, Mark Sieve (Janis), Jon Sieve (Nancy), Kurt Sieve (Jeanne) and Katy Johnson.
Mike decided not to reopen the Brass Lantern in January of 2021, due to closures as a result of the Covid pandemic.
