It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gary George Bauer (Altura, Minnesota), who passed away on January 23, 2021, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Victor Bauer and Mary Bauer (Nagle); his sister-in-law Carol Bauer; his parents-in-law, Randal and Henrietta; his siblings-in-law, Kenneth Hock and Marleen McKormick (Don); and his nephew Jim McKormick.
He is survived by: his former wife Nancy Hock; his sons, David of Winona and Mike of Winona; his close friend Cynthia Schwager; his daughter Deborah Lesko (John) of Tampa, FL; his grandchildren, Dane, Colby, Chase Brooks, Eric Passehl, Nina Rakotojoelmandrasana (Tonta) and Sheldon Bauer; his brother Gale Bauer of La Crosse, WI; his nieces and nephews, Terry, Kim, Scott, Tim, Kevin, Denise, Cheryl and Karen McKormick; and also Erin Schwager.
