He was predeceased by: his parents, David Speltz and Barbara Speltz (Burke); and his grandparents, George, Clara Burke, Vincent and Susie Speltz.
He is survived by: his former wife Shelley Born; his brother John Speltz (Dawn); his niece Hailey Speltz; his nephew Alex Speltz; his godparents, James Burke and Geraldine Daley; his godson Zach Picha; and also Lauren Picha.
