He is survived by: his wife Sherry; his children, Jennifer Deshaw (Wade), Amanda Valerius (Jeremy), Melissa Klein (Larry), Eric Berens (Brandy) and Ryan Kimball (Megan); his grandchildren, Jessica, Katie, Andrew, Justin David, Justin Franklin, Kalin, Alex, Hannah, Jocelyn, Jacob and Rory; and his sister Joan Sage (Roger).
