He was predeceased by: his father Carl; his former wife Marjorie Amborn (Blom); his son Warren Scott Amborn; his brother Ronald Amborn; his stepsiblings, William Janke, Harvey Janke and Selma Arbuckle; and his sons-in-law, Kerry Krause and Bill Haaga.
He is survived by: his wife Esther Amborn; his children, Analyn (Paul Walchak), Annette Krause, Lynette Haaga and Jason Amborn (Deanna); and his stepchildren, Shari Hayes (Jim), Terese Barnes and Kevin Barnes. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews and extended family.
Faith in God, education and family were the foundations of his life.
