It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elaine Schmidt of Angora, Minnesota, born in Saint Paul, Minnesota, who passed away on June 27, 2020, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Ernest Zafke and Rhoda Zafke; and her brother Ernest. She is survived by : her former life partner Lawrence Schmidt; her husband Larry; her children, Richard Zoschke of Bellflower, CA, Wayne Olson (Silvia) of Brentwood, CA, Mary Taittonen (Michael) of Hibbing, MN, Robert Olson (Kelly) of Coon Rapids, MN and Nancy Voigt (Warren) of Clearwater, MN; and her siblings, Carole Sitters of Bovey, MN, Karen Olivarez (Tony) of St. Paul, MN and Jerry Zafke (Sue) of St. Paul, MN. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandchild.
