She was predeceased by: her parents, Merlyn Fischer and Opal Fischer (Faulkner); her son Thomas Brtek; her grandchildren, Jamie and Joshua Hite; and her aunt Edna Faulkner.
She is survived by: her brother Tommy; her husband Floyd; her children, Julie Brtek of Bloomington, Steve Brtek of Minneapolis, Christy Brtek of Fridley, Gina Fields of East Bethel, Rhonda Brtek of Buffalo and Janet Brtek (JC Compagnon) of Coon Rapids; her grandchildren, Earl, Sara, Nicole, Brandon, Curtis, Jeffrey, Ashley, Ella, Jackson, Jessica, Brian, Trevor, Kevin, Crystal, Kyle and Tyler; and her brother Thomas Fischer (Sharon). She is also survived by several brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law; nieces, nephews.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions, the 1:00 p. m. Funeral Service on Friday, October 2 will be private for family only, but will be live-streamed.
