He is survived by: his children, Ed (Patti), Laura Wensmann (Mark), Mary Gustafson (Brian), Bob (Anita) and Debbie Gieseke (Bob); his grandchildren, Amy Sawicki, Mike Ersfeld, Alec Ersfeld, Cassandra Gustafson (Danny), Nicole Gustafson and Jackson Gieseke; his great grandchildren, Isabella, McKenzie, Chloe, Liam and Ruby; and his siblings, Tom (Kathy), Jim and Patti Bond (Dave). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
