It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gerald John Ocel (Apple Valley, Minnesota), who passed away on December 17, 2019, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He is survived by: the mother of his children Elizabeth Ocel (Betty); his children, Lisa (Brian), Christine (Todd), Steve (Lisa) and Brian (Heather); and his grandchildren, Zachary, Katlyn, Megan, Benjamin, Jackson, Elizabeth and Samantha.

In lieu of flowers or monetary gifts, we ask that donations be made to the University of Minnesota Raptor Center or the Minnesota Air Guard Museum.
