It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marc Gilbertson of Apple Valley, Minnesota, born in Virginia, Minnesota, who passed away on July 30, 2020, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Lawrence Gilbertson and Joyce Gilbertson (Foosness); his wife Molly; his children, Derek Gilbertson (Jill), Seth Gilbertson (Sarah) and Katherine Perry; his grandchildren, Bennett, Abagail and Talon; and his siblings, Gene Gilbertson (Jennifer), Gail Bergman (Shannon) and Joreen Tonneson (Mike). He was also cherished by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be donated to the Wounded Warrior Project and the Fort Snelling Chapel Foundation.
