He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Earl Dahmen and LaVonne Dahmen (Skauge); his children, Earl Dahmen, Mapleview, Tammy Dahmen (Alan Schumacher), Austin, April Dahmen (Daniel Sikkink), Larry "Lash" Dahmen (Jamie), Joshua Dahmen (Stephanie) and Shannon Dahmen; his grandchildren, Tyler, Travis, Adam, Zachary, Dominique, Elijah, Kylie, Korbin, Nancy, Shaemus, Rosemary and Sebastian; his sister Sherry Dahmen; his nephews, Nicholas, Preston, Coniah and Bronson; his sister Darla; and his grandparents, Nervin and Agnes Skauge.
