It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Raymond Opsahl of Austin, Minnesota, born in Houston, Minnesota, who passed away on June 2, 2020, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Opsahl and Ida Opsahl (Nelson); his siblings, Rosie Opsahl, Ethel Opsahl, Leroy Opsahl, Milford Opsahl, Verna Otterness (Iver) and Norma Johnson (Arnie); and his brother-in-law Ronald Bailey.
He is survived by: his wife Carol Opsahl of Austin, MN; his children, Alan Opsahl (Lisa) of East Lyme, CT and Karen Opsahl-Roberts (Rafael "Ricky" Roberts) of St. John; his grandchildren, Adam Opsahl, Evan Opsahl, Ethan Opsahl, Megan Opsahl and Eion Roberts; his siblings, Earling Opsahl (Martha) of Austin, MN, Elmer Opsahl (Tove) of Rochester, MN, Gladys Opsahl of Rochester, MN and Idella Bailey of Rochester, MN; and his sister-in-law Janice Opsahl of Austin, MN. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
