He is survived by: his wife Lois Bergene of Adams, MN; his children, Bradley Bergene of Tucson, AZ, Brian Bergene (Teresa) of Rose Creek, MN, Bruce Bergene (Mary) of Elkton, MN, Bettina Christopherson (Allan), Brett Bergene (Sherri) and Bryce Bergene of Elkton, MN; his grandchildren, Nathan Bergene, Shawna Klaehn, Clinton Bergene, Daniel Bergene, Aric Bergene, Tyler Bergene, Brandon Bergene, Colton Christopherson, Hannah Bergene, Hallie Bergene, Henry Bergene and Hogan Bergene; his great grandchildren, Aiden Klaehn, Kelson Klaehn and Charlie Bergene; his siblings, Virgil Bergene of Adams, MN and Jane Sletta of Mankato, MN; and his sisters-in-law, Bonnie Kermes of Owatonna, Alice Huemoeller of Shoreview and Pat Huemoeller. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the donor's choice.
