She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph "Jim" Abraham and Marie Abraham (Hagen); her husband Donald Vorderbruggen; and her son Mark. She is survived by: her sons, Rick Vorderbruggen (Nancy) and Dan Vorderbruggen (Carol). She is also survived by four grandchildren; and ten great grandchildren.
