With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ruth Bartel (Baxter, Minnesota), born in Cherokee, Iowa, who passed away on September 12, 2018 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Leonard; her daughter-in-law Karen Bartel; her sister Violet Overgaard; and her siblings-in-law, Norbert Bartel, Harvey Bartel, Elmer Overgaard and Marilyn Bartel.
She is survived by: her sons, Clyde Bartel of Alta, IA, Dale Bartel (Linda) of Brainerd, MN and John Bartel (Dawn); and her grandchildren, Marc Bartel, Susanne Conrad (Mike), Charles Bartel (Amy), Jared Bartel (Annette), Autumn Shobe (Brad), Trevor Bartel and Hayley Bartel. She is also survived by ten great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
