He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar Herberg and Leona Herberg (Hills); his sisters, Rose and Darlene; and his parents-in-law, Bill Marks and Lorraine Marks.

He is survived by: his wife Barbara Marks; his sons, Micheal and David; his grandson Aysen; and his brother Vern (Connie).
