He is survived by : his wife Roseann Thelitz; his children, Norman Pittman, Trudy Johnson (Brian) and Judy Welch; his grandchildren, Jennifer, Justin and Jarrod Johnson; his siblings, Donald Pittman and Alice Klatt; his children, Daniel and Carmae; his parents-in-law, Rose (Clitty) and Herman Thelitz; his sister Donna; and his siblings-in-law, Basil Keeler, Alice Pittman and Lyle Klatt.
