He was predeceased by : his parents, Albert Oelfke and Malinda Oelfke (Klancke); his brother Maurice Oelfke; his wife Sharon Oelfke (Kamps); his sisters, Yvonne and Orinne; and his brother-in-law Clarence Illies.

He is survived by : his daughters, Susy Dahlke (Darwin) and Sandy Luehrs (Kevin); his grandchildren, Zac Dahlke, Derek Dahlke, Ashley Benage (Josh), Aaron Luehrs (Cailey) and Addison Luehrs; his great grandchildren, Brooks, Hudson, Lucy and Elsie; his sister-in-law LaVonne Oelfke; and his nieces and nephews, Bev, Keith, Rachel and Jackie.
